We are delighted to be able to offer this wonderful itinerary catering for both golfers & non-golfers alike.
This 7 night twin centre tour will consist of 4 nights at Black Sand Hotel which is located in the southern region and is a contemporary 4-star retreat on Iceland’s striking South Coast. It is close to some of the country’s most iconic natural wonders and gives good access to many areas of interest.
The guest rooms, all come with stunning ocean views or views of the river Ölfusá and during our time here the group can enjoy seasonal Icelandic dishes, or relax in the hotel’s signature spa and wellness area which offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
For the last 3 nights of the trip, the group will reside at the centrally located Fosshotel in Reykjavik City Centre.

Enjoy time in Reykjavik, Iceland’s vibrant capital – filled with culture, cuisine, and charm.
Day 1. UK to Iceland
Arrivals at Keflavik Airport. Meet your tour leader for a transfer at 16:00 from Keflavik Airport.
Transfer to Black Sand Hotel, which is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
Check-in to the rooms, followed by a welcome drink and 3 course dinner.
Day 2. Thorlakshöfn
Golfers:
After breakfast, transfer to the 18-hole links course in Thorlakshöfn
Afternoon transfer back to the hotel and time to relax before dinner (payable locally).
Non-Golfers:
Mid-morning transfer to the Lava Tunnel in Raufarhólshellir. One hour guided tour - a unique experience to witness the inside of the lava flow from a volcanic eruption about 5200 years ago. Return to Black Sand Hotel.
Day 3. Vestman Islands
Golfers and Non-Golfers:
After breakfast at 09:00 transfer to Landeyjahöfn for the Vestman Island ferry departure at 10:45.
Arrival in Heimaey at 11:25.
Golfers will be transferred to the 18-hole Vestmannaeyja Golf Course, a unique location in an extinct volcano crater.
Non-golfers are free to explore the town of Heimaey on foot.
Enjoy lunch in one of the town's many cafés and restaurants
Visit the Eldheimar Museum (https://www.eldheimar.is/) - entrance fee payable locally (around £25 p.p.)
At 14:00 join the Circle Boat tour of the island, which departs at 14:15, duration 1.5 hours
Circle Boat Tour
Sail around the stunning Westman Islands, and visit two spectacular sea caves, Klettshellir, renowned for its incredible acoustics, and Fjósið at Cape Höfði, the windiest spot in Europe. Learn about the islands’ history, geology, sagas, and the 1973 Eldfell eruption, while admiring unique rock formations, fresh lava flows, and the youngest island on Earth, Surtsey. Along the way, spot a variety of seabirds, including puffins, fulmars, and kittiwakes, and you may even see seals and whales
In the afternoon, there is time for refreshments and shopping for local handicrafts.
Golfers and Non-Golfers:
Ferry departure at 17:00, arrival back to Black Sand Hotel around 19:00.
Day 4. Hella
Golfers and Non-Golfers:
After breakfast the golfers will transfer to the 18-hole golf course in Hella
Non-Golfers to explore the south coast; visit Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Skógafoss Waterfall and the Dyrholaey bird cliffs.
In the afternoon everyone visits the Lava Centre interactive exhibition before transfer back to the hotel.
Time to relax before dinner (own account).
Day 5. Golden Circle & Fontana Spa
Depart after breakfast and travel to the Geysir geothermal area, the two-tiered Gullfoss Waterfall and have some time to relax in the beautiful Fontana Spa on the shores of the Lake Laugarvatn.
Time to have a light lunch (payable locally) at the spa before heading to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Thingvellir National Park, where you can see and experience the force of the two continental plates pulling apart. There may be the option to stay and snorkel the unique break of the tectonic plates and continue to Reykjavik afterwards.
Arrival in Reykjavik in the late afternoon and check in to the Fosshotel for the next 3 nights.
Day 6. Brautarholt
Golfers:
After breakfast, transfer to the 18-hole golf course in Brautarholt
Afternoon transfer back to the hotel and time to relax before dinner (own account).
OR
Morning at leisure, transfer to Brautarholt Golf Course in the late afternoon for midnight golf.
Non-Golfers:
Day at leisure in Reykjavik or join one of the optional excursions.
Day 7. Keilir
Golfers:
After breakfast, transfer to the 18-hole golf course in Keilir (Max handicap -34).
Afternoon transfer back to the hotel and time to relax before tonight's 3-course Farewell Dinner and drinks.
Non-Golfers:
Day at leisure in Reykjavik or join one of the optional excursions.
Day 8. Iceland to the UK
Breakfast and check-out by midday. Transfer to Keflavik Airport at 12:30.

• Services of a golfing guide, Ásbjörn 'Abbi' Björgvinsson, from Day 1 to Day 8.
• Services of Golf to a Tee host from the UK office
As always, we are delighted to be able to offer a fully protected flight inclusive package price on a request basis. Flights are available into Reykjavik from a number of regional airports. Icelandair is scheduled to arrive to meet the main transfer from Gatwick, Manchester, Edinburgh & Glasgow. Morning flights are likely to be available from Luton with easyJet and Heathrow with British Airways and you could spend the day at the Blue Lagoon and join the afternoon transfer.

Whale watching in Faxaflói bay (2-3.5 hours) including pick up and drop off from the hotel - £140 per person
